Rachel went on to earn four vocal/musical theater scholarship offers including Ryder University, Point Park University, Berklee College of Music and Santa Fe University of Art and Design. She decided on college life in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she graduated with a BA in Contemporary Music under Department Chair, Horace Alexander Young at Santa Fe University of Art & Design.
Today, Rachel continues to pursue her career in music, acting and modeling.
Born with a hearing dysfunction and years of speech therapy Rachel was inspired by early Gospel legend, Mahalia Jackson, Jazz legends, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan and R&B legends, Sam Cooke, Gladys Knight and Lauryn Hill.
Rachel grew up swooning along with her music and cultivated her silky-smooth vocals through her childhood church choir, private classical lessons, Jazz training at Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts in her hometown of Dallas, TX.
